国際展「窓の表面２０１１」を京都紫野にある雅景錐プレオープン企画（来年３月中にて、正式オープンの予定）にて、１２月１５日（木）より国際展を実施いたします。

展覧会趣旨

「窓の表面」と題したこの展覧会は、ガラスに反射した表面を示しています。

その表面の意味は、自身の精神性を指し、窓から眺めた外の世界は、社会を指しています。アーティストたちの作品からその精神性と社会の関係を掲示し、様々な同時代性に共鳴する表現が集います。この写真をテーマとした展覧会は、写真芸術との接点を見いだすことのできる他現代美術のアーティストも含み、１０年の間に定期継続（隔年開催）するタイムプロジェクトとして活動しています。京都という場の精神性に通じた意識の中、スロー＆テンスアトモスフィア（ゆっくり、そしてその緊張感）をテーマに、京都から世界へ発信する同時代のアーティストたちにおけるムーブメントとなることを目指しています。

第二回は「都市と辺境」をテーマに、日本、ベルギー、フランスの写真芸術とフォトリアリズムの手法を用いた都市風景画と合わせて紹介いたします。

[Surface of window 2011/ Slow & Tense atmosphere],Kyoto
Venue:Gakei Gimlet (Social Alternative Art Space)

The exhibition title “Surface of Window” indicates a reflected surface on a windowpane.

The surface represents one’s spirituality, and the external world, which are seen through the window expresses society. The exhibited works explore the artists’ relationship between spirituality and society through diverse contemporary expressions. This exhibition (composed of biennial exhibitions) is part of our ten-year project, and will be expanded with the main theme, that is photography and different media by contemporary artists pertain to the concept of photography.Based on the theme “slow and tense atmosphere”, which intends to the location of Kyoto and its sense of spirituality, and from this city, this project aims to introduce contemporary artists and their artistic movement to international audiences.

The second exhibition of this project, the theme “City and Frontier”, will feature photographic artworks and landscape paintings which are used the technique of photorealism from Japan, Belgium and France.
